Centerlight Theatre
CenterLight Theatre presents Murder Me Always, an interactive audience murder mystery, written by Lee Mueller and performed by Center Light’s distinguished Deaf alumni actors.
CenterLight Theatre, located in the northern Chicago area suburb of Northbrook, is the only theatre of its kind in the Midwest to produce major productions each season using American Sign Language (ASL), and Spoken English simultaneously. CenterLight Theatre exposes hearing members of the audience to sign language, while giving deaf audience members the opportunity to see a play performed in their own language. All lead actors, who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing, choreograph sign language interpretations of dialogue into their acting. The hearing actors serve as each role's counterpart by providing voices from the wings or on stage as peripheral characters.
Murder Me Always cast members include: Liz Tannebaum, former ICODA alumn and Emmy Award-winner Actress, Tom Adamo, Brendan Connolly, Regina Daniels, Keith Delk, Kim Delk, Gretchen G. Gannon, Esther Hoffman, RJ Jordan, Jim Lomanto, Brittany Palm, Sandi Werner, Mike Williams and Tracey Williams.
This fund raiser owes a very special thanks to the entire cast for generously donating their time and talent to help raise money and awareness for future Children’s Theatre Programs at ICODA.
Show dates will be Wednesdays @ 7pm, Fridays and Saturdays @ 8pm, Sundays @ 4pm starting March 12 and running through April 7. Special “Party Nights” will St. Patty’s Night on March 17th @ 7pm and Sports Night on April 10th at 8pm.
